Tesla Recalls 2,431 Cybertrucks Due to Faulty Drive Inverter

Tesla’s sixth Cybertruck recall this year addresses a faulty drive inverter, with a risk of loss of propulsion. A physical replacement will be provided at no cost to owners.

Tesla's Cybertruck has been hit with its sixth recall in just one year. The latest recall, affecting 2,431 units, involves certain 2024 Cybertrucks built between November 6, 2023, and July 30, 2024.

The issue centers around a faulty drive inverter, which could stop producing torque, causing the vehicle to lose propulsion. This poses a risk of accidents, as drivers may lose the ability to control the vehicle’s movement using the accelerator pedal.
