Microsoft’s Interpreter in Teams will simulate users’ voices for real-time speech translation in nine languages, starting in early 2025.
Microsoft is rolling out a groundbreaking feature for Teams, allowing users to clone their voice for multilingual communication in meetings. Unveiled at Microsoft Ignite 2024, the Interpreter tool is set to launch in early 2025 for Microsoft 365 subscribers.
It will offer speech-to-speech translation in nine languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Mandarin, and Spanish. This feature will allow users to retain their unique voice while speaking in different languages, adding a personal touch to conversations.
