Bluesky Introduces New 'Mentions' Tab in 1.96 Update

Bluesky has introduced a new "Mentions" tab in its latest 1.96 update, making it easier than ever to track conversations where you're tagged or have replied. This addition streamlines your notifications and allows you to quickly catch up on discussions involving you.

The update also brings new customization options for how replies are displayed. You can now choose between linear replies, which appear in a simple, one-after-the-other format, or threaded replies, where comments are grouped into indented chains similar to Reddit. Additionally, replies can be sorted by newest, oldest, most-liked, "hot," or even "random" (Bluesky's fun twist, also known as "Poster’s Roulette").
