Beaver Moon Will Be the Last Supermoon of 2024

Rising beneath Aries' curved horns, the moon will share the night with four visible planets

The final supermoon of 2024 rises this week, and it's a sight you won’t want to miss. November’s Full Beaver Moon will light up the sky on Friday, November 15, just in time for some late-night skywatching. While the exact moment of fullness occurs at 4:28 p.m. EST (2128 GMT), the moon will appear full for most of the evening and into Saturday.

Alongside the Beaver Moon, you’ll also spot the Pleiades star cluster, known as the "Seven Sisters," nestled next to the moon in the Taurus constellation. However, the moon's brightness may make it tough to see all the stars in the cluster.
